Work Methods. A. All work shall be done between the hours mutually agreed upon by the Department’s Supervisor and the Provider. B. Remove and dispose of litter from the right of way, excluding roadway surface and designated non-pickup areas. C. Remove bagged litter on the same day it is collected. Do not remove dead animals, hazardous materials or large bulky or heavy items of litter, such as tree stumps, that require mechanical lifting equipment. Instead, notify the Department for removal. Dispose of litter off the right of way in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. D. All whole tires shall be picked up and taken to the Maintenance Section yard designated by the Department’s Supervisor. E. Once work has started, the Provider shall proceed in an expeditious manner until all work is satisfactorily completed, unless otherwise directed by the Department’s Supervisor.
