WORK DAYS/YEAR Sample Clauses

The WORK DAYS/YEAR clause defines the standard number of working days expected within a calendar year under the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies how many days constitute a full work year, often excluding weekends and recognized holidays, and may be used to calculate salaries, benefits, or leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis. Its core function is to establish a clear and consistent framework for determining work schedules and related compensation, thereby preventing misunderstandings about employment expectations and entitlements.
