Weekend Availability. Employees (full-time, part-time) must be available one weekend in two (a weekend is both Saturday and Sunday). A full-time employee must select from either (F1 or F2) or F3, but the resultant availability must reflect two full-time employees available on the F3 time slots. If the original employees’ choices do not result in such a schedule, the least senior employees will be deemed to have chosen F3 as necessary to achieve availability of two full-time employees on that F3 time slot. A part-time employee must select from either (P1 or P2) or P3, but the resultant availability must reflect three part-time employees available on the P3 time slots. If the original employees’ choices do not result in such a schedule, the least senior employees will be deemed to have chosen P3 as necessary to achieve availability of three part-time employees on that P3 time slot. Casual employees must be available one weekend in four (at least one time slot on each day of the weekend). A weekend is defined as 0600 Saturday – 2300 Sunday for the purposes of scheduling. Full-time employees must indicate availability for at least forty (40) hours (including travel time) per seven (7) day week choosing one of the day time slots as per schedule B for Monday to Friday. Part-time employees must indicate availability for twenty (20) hours (including travel time) per seven (7) day week choosing at least three (3) evening slots from Schedule B for Monday to Friday. Employees can volunteer for permanent Part-time P3 positions and the employer will consider such request.
