Weekday Shift Differential Clause Samples

The Weekday Shift Differential clause establishes additional compensation for employees who work shifts during weekdays that fall outside of standard working hours, such as evenings or nights. Typically, this clause specifies the percentage or fixed amount added to the base pay for qualifying hours, and may outline which days and timeframes are eligible for the differential. Its core practical function is to incentivize employees to work less desirable shifts and to ensure fair compensation for work performed during non-standard hours.
