WEBSPACE Clause Samples
The WEBSPACE clause defines the terms under which a party is granted access to and use of a designated online platform or website area. Typically, this clause outlines the scope of permitted activities, any restrictions on content or usage, and the responsibilities of the user regarding security and maintenance. By clearly specifying these conditions, the clause helps prevent misuse of the webspace and ensures both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding the digital environment.
WEBSPACE. 10.4.1 Where the Customer is renting w eb space from VM, it shall ensure that the contents comply w ith the provisions of clause 5 of this Agreement.
10.4.2 It is the Customer’s responsibility to keep backup copies of any data uploaded to VM’s servers and to satisfy itself of the effectiveness of any system it establishes to monitor the w eb space contents and use.
10.4.3 VM may at its absolute discretion move any w eb space w hich generates abnormally high hit levels. VM shall give the Customer notice of such move and any additional charges this may incur, as soon as reasonably practicable.
WEBSPACE. (a) You are solely responsible for (and Supanet accepts no responsibility or liability for) the content of any web space provided to you as part of the Service. Supanet reserves the right (but shall be under no obligation) to remove from your web space without prior notice any materials that do not comply with the AUP.
(b) The amount of bandwidth and online storage available for your webspace is limited to enable Supanet to provide the Service to all its customers. Details of the online storage space and bandwidth allocated to you can be found in My Account.
(c) Supanet reserves the right (but is not under any obligation) at any time without prior warning to suspend the provision of the Service if you are using excessive bandwidth.
(d) You cannot link the webspace be linked to a third party (i.e. ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇) domain name.
(e) Functions such as CGI scripts or access logs are not available.
(f) Technical Support does not include support for HTML authoring or web page design.
(g) You are responsible for backing up data on your web pages. Supanet will not keep copies of your web pages and under no circumstances will we be responsible for the loss of any data or content on those pages if you have failed to properly back them up.
