Common use of Water Heater and Tank Clause in Contracts

Water Heater and Tank. The hot water heater and tank for the dwelling may not be included in the Purchase and shall remain chattel property. The Purchaser agrees to execute a rental contract if requested for the hot water heater and tank and agrees to take all necessary steps to assume immediately on the Closing Date, charges for hydro, water and other services, and the Vendor may recover any payments from the Purchaser which are the Purchaser’s responsibility but which may be billed to the Vendor. In the event that a rental program for the hot water tank is not available at the Closing Date, the cost of the hot water tank shall be reimbursed by the Purchaser to the Vendor as an Adjustment on the Closing Date, as outlined in the TARION Schedule "O-B" attached hereto.
