Common use of Voluntary Hours Reduction Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Hours Reduction. ARRMC will consider requests for 19 nurses to reduce FTE to accommodate an incumbent RN’s desire for 20 lesser hours. The requesting nurse will first meet with the clinical 21 manager and request such reduction in hours. A committee of one 22 Association appointed representative and one Hospital-appointed 23 representative will facilitate consideration of such transitions and 24 propose creative solutions if the RN and their clinical manager cannot 25 agree. This procedure will not be subject to the grievance and 26 arbitration process.
