Vision Care Services Eye Examinations. We cover one routine eye exam per plan year if an optometrist or ophthalmologist performs the examination. We cover medically necessary eye examinations. Related Exclusion Vision care services covered under other plans are not considered an allowable expense for purposes of coordination of benefits.
