Common use of Vehicle Certification Clause in Contracts

Vehicle Certification. For each Collection Vehicle used in the performance of services under this Agreement, Contractor must obtain a certificate of compliance (smog check) issued pursuant to Part 5 of Division 26 of the California Health and Safety Code (Section 43000 and following) and regulations promulgated thereunder and/or a safety compliance report issued pursuant to Division 14.8 of the California Vehicle Code (Section 34500 and following) and the regulations promulgated thereunder, as applicable to the vehicle. Contractor must maintain copies of such certificates and reports and must make such certificates and reports available for inspection upon request by the Agreement Administrator.
