Common use of Vacation Qualifying Time Clause in Contracts

Vacation Qualifying Time. Vacation entitlement accrued to June 30 (inclusive) shall be taken prior to January 1 in the following year unless otherwise required by operational necessity, or unless requested by an employee and approved by the Employer. Requests by employees to take their vacation leave prior to a June 30th cut-off date shall be granted by the Employer unless otherwise required by operational necessity. If the employee terminates prior to the June 30th cut-off date then the Employer shall be reimbursed by the employee for such advanced vacation pay.
