VACATION LEAVES. 1. Faculty Members on the eleven (11) month salary schedules in the C, R, S, B, and A classifications are eligible to earn vacation leave at the rate of one and three-quarter (1-3/4) working days for each month of service. 2. If such Faculty Members render less than a month of service, their vacation allowance for such month shall be computed as follows: 4 to 6 1/2 7 to 9 3/4 10 to 12 1 full day 13 to 15 1-1/4 days 16 to 18 1-1/2 days 19 or more 1-3/4 days 3. Faculty Members on the nine (9) month salary schedule are not eligible to earn vacation leave. 4. Faculty Members on the eleven (11) month salary schedule in the I classification are not eligible to earn vacation leave.
VACATION LEAVES. 2 Upon completion of six (6) months of regular and continuous 3 paid service, unit members shall be credited with paid vacation in 4 the amount described below: 5 a. One (1) day for each month worked since regular 6 employment began. A unit member beginning regular 7 employment at other than the first day of a month shall receive 8 vacation credit if he/she worked one-half (½) the working days in 9 the month or longer. 10 b. Upon completion of two (2) years of regular service, a unit 11 member shall begin earning vacation at the rate of one and one- 12 quarter (1¼) days per month worked. 13 c. Upon completion of ten (10) years of regular service, a unit 14 member shall begin earning vacation at the rate of 1.417 days per 15 month worked. 16 d. VACATION LEAVES. Rotated Every effort will be made to the of vacation leave between May 1st and October in each year. Vacation leave shall be rotated to ensure equality regardless of seniority.
VACATION LEAVES. Paid vacation leave shall be twenty (20) days, consisting of twenty-four (24) hour increments for each day, per academic year. Vacation time shall accrue from year to year. The total amount of vacation leaves due a Resident will be credited to the Resident at the beginning of the appointment. As the Resident uses vacation leave, the leave balance will decrease accordingly. Vacation time shall not be in place of the four in twenty-eight days off requirement.
VACATION LEAVES. 11.1 The Executive shall be entitled to Thirty (30) working days of vacation per calendar year pro-rated in accordance to the number of completed month of service. The Executive vacation leave entitlement in Switzerland will be calculated up to the date he starts on his assignment in Singapore and brought forward to Singapore. 11.2 The Executive is entitled to all gazetted public holidays in Singapore.

For the purposes of this article, a day of vacation shall be defined as the unit member's 14 basic hours per day assignment, exclusive of overtime. 15 f. With the exception of unit members assigned to four- (4) day, forty- (40) hour workweeks, 16 the District reserves the right to prorate vacation for unit members who are assigned to 17 positions not requiring service every workday of the month.
VACATION LEAVES. Requests for vacation shall be made upon forms provided by the Employer and shall be made within not less than two (2) working days of the time requested. Requests for vacation shall be deemed to have been approved if not disapproved within two (2) working days of the request. Requests for vacation shall be subject to the following: a. In case of emergency, when no advance application is possible, the Employee shall make such application as soon as possible. b. Employees shall be permitted to choose either a split or entire vacation. Such vacations shall be so arranged and granted that the Employee's absence from any department will not interfere with the necessary and efficient operations thereof. Subject to the foregoing, the Employee shall have the right to choose the time of their vacation, but, if two or more Employees within the same department make simultaneous request for the same vacation time, the senior Employee shall receive preference. c. Vacation leaves may be taken in increments of no less than four (4) hours. All vacation leave must be requested and approved in advance. No vacation leave may be taken without the prior approval of the Employee's supervisor and Division Head. 34‌
VACATION LEAVES. Paid vacation to eligible custodians, food service, and secretaries will be uniform. All vacation requests must be in writing and approved by the appropriate director and superintendent. For year-round employees, no more than one employee at a time per building (or one campus wide position) may take vacation while school is in session. School Year employees may not take vacation time on days when school is in session except in case of an emergency and with the approval of the appropriate principal/director and superintendent. Vacations taken while school is in session will be granted on a first come, first served basis and must be requested in writing at least fourteen days but not more than six months in advance. Only one week of vacation may be requested at one time. Vacation benefits, which do not accumulate, will be as follows: a. First year of employment 1 week (5 days) b. 2nd thru 5th year of employment 2 weeks (10 days) c. 6th thru 10th year of employment 3 weeks (15 days) d. Each year after 10 full years of employment 4 weeks (20 days) In the event that an employee leaves employment within the first six months of a given year, vacation time will be pro-rated accordingly.
