Vacation Deferral. Any eligible employee with the consent of the department director may defer his/her annual vacation to the succeeding calendar year subject to other provisions of this rule. In the event one (1) or more municipal holidays fall within an annual vacation leave, such holidays shall not be charged as vacation leave, and vacation leave shall be extended accordingly.
