Common use of Use of Employee Vehicle Clause in Contracts

Use of Employee Vehicle. An employee called back to work under the provisions of Article 24.02 will receive a vehicle allowance as per the Employer’s travel policy. Where the employee does not have private transportation, taxi fare from home to the site and return will be paid by the Employer. The use of an employee's vehicle for Employer business shall be by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. Where the employee is required to use their vehicle for Employer business, the employee shall be paid an allowance as per the Employer’s travel policy. In either A) or B), if the employee utilizes their own vehicle, the employee shall be paid a minimum of four dollars ($4.00) for each round trip.
