Common use of Union Training Clause in Contracts

Union Training. Conditional upon prior approval of the course content and upon receipt of certification of completion, if the employee is an elected official or ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ of the Union, the City shall reimburse the employee for up to one-half of his or her regular work time spent in such training at the employee's permanent rate of pay, not to exceed twenty (20) hours of paid leave in a calendar year.
