Common use of Union Training Clause in Contracts

Union Training. Should the xxxxxxx and his union decide that the xxxxxxx needs training to properly carry out his new duties, the xxxxxxx may take leave without pay from his work to attend any relevant courses. The duration of the leave shall be negotiated by the parties, taking into account the particularities of the industry.
