Union Support Sample Clauses
Union Support. The Union agrees to support, without qualification, the Employer’s Safety Program and will encourage its members to attend safety courses and to obtain first aid certificates, as required by the City.
Union Support. The Union recognizes that the observance of safe working practices is primarily the responsibility of each employee. The Union agrees to encourage all unit employees to observe safe working practices and to report promptly to their supervisors any unsafe condition or action in accordance with Article 18.3. No employee will be subject to restraint, interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal for filing a report of an unsafe or unhealthful working condition or otherwise participating in the safety and health program as set forth in this Article.

The Union, Local 56, agrees to do everything within its power to enforce its rules and regulations, and through advice, instructions and example to maintain the highest standard or work. The Union agrees to take necessary disciplinary measures where justified complaints are made by the Employer against an Employee or Employees.
Union Support. Unions provide guidance and training on salary increases in line with the collective agreement.
