Union Leave - Notice. In order for the Employer to replace the employee with a competent substitute, it is agreed that before the employee receives this Leave of Absence, as set forth in Clauses 3.01 and 3.02 above, the Employer shall be advised in writing ten (10) days prior to the day on which the Leave of Absence is to commence. With regard to Article 3.02, the employee shall be advised of the Company's decision prior to posting of the schedule in which the leave of absence is to commence.
