Common use of Transport Documents Clause in Contracts

Transport Documents. The Freight Forwarder shall be entitled to issue, in respect of the whole or part of any contract for the movement of Goods, a bill of lading (combined transport, through transport, port-to- port) or waybill (seafreight or airfreight). Where a bill of lading or waybill has been issued, these trading terms and conditions shall continue to apply except insofar as they conflict with the trading terms and conditions of the bill of lading or waybill concerned. The Freight Forwarder is entitled to charge an additional fee for issuing a bill of lading or waybill.
