Transfer Within Geographic Location. Should Clauses 13.05 and 13.06 above not result in the placement of a supernumerary employee who has not received notice of layoff, they may be laterally transferred to vacant regular positions within the geographic location. Refusal to accept a lateral transfer shall be deemed a resignation and there shall be no entitlement to severance pay.
