Common use of Trainee Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Trainee Eligibility. Applicants with one of the following qualifications are eligible for appointment to accredited residency/fellowship programs at Northwell Health: a. Graduates of medical schools in the U.S. and Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the AOA Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA), Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME.) b. Graduates of medical schools outside the U.S. and Canada who meet one of the following qualifications: 1) Have received a current valid certificate from the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or, 2) Have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing jurisdiction; c. Graduates of medical schools outside the U.S. who have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.
