Trade Bids. In order for Landlord to ensure the proper coordination of the Landlord’s Work, the TI Contractor shall be required to use subcontractors from a list of Landlord’s approved subcontractors. Tenant or the TI Contractor shall either engage the following subcontractors or engineering firms for the following work in the Project (the contract or subcontract for such work being hereinafter referred to as a “Major Subcontract”), or if another subcontractor is engaged under a Major Subcontract, permit the following subcontractors to perform a peer review of the drawings and engineering prepared for the following areas of work: (i) Mechanical/Plumbing/Piping: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇; (ii) Electrical: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Engineers; (iii) Fire Protection: Patriot Fire Protection; (iv) Structural: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Associates; and (v) Low Voltage Systems: ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Engineers. The cost of such peer review shall be borne by Tenant. Tenant shall cause its Architects and consultants to work cooperatively with Landlord and its architects and consultants to assure that Landlord is satisfied that any changes proposed by Tenant as part of the TI Work will not adversely affect the operation of the Building.

Trade Bids. Subcontractors and Suppliers; Bidding Procedures. During the Design & Preconstruction Phase, the Design-Builder shall seek to develop subcontractor interest in the Project. Within fifteen (15) days after the completion of the schematic design, the Design- Builder shall provide to the Department for its review and approval a written submission on the proposed bidding procedures. Such procedures shall include (i) a list of proposed trade packages; (ii) a list of trade subcontractors that will be invited to bid on each such package; and (iii) a narrative description of the process. At least three (3) potential subcontractors shall be identified for each trade package. A copy of this deliverable must be submitted to both the Program Manager and the Contracting Officer. In the event the Department does not approve the proposed bidding procedures within fifteen (15) days after its receipt, such procedures shall be deemed approved unless the Department advises that such is still under review.
