Common use of Title to Vessel Clause in Contracts

Title to Vessel. The Shipowner lawfully owns and is lawfully possessed of the Vessel free from any lien or encumbrance whatsoever other than this Mortgage, liens for current crew’s wages and liens not yet required to be removed under Section 7 of Article II hereof and will warrant and defend the title and possession thereto and to every part thereof for the benefit of the Mortgagee against the claims and demands of all persons whomsoever.

Title to Vessel. The Shipowner lawfully owns and is lawfully possessed of the Vessel free from any lien or encumbrance whatsoever other than this Mortgage, liens for current crew’s 's wages and liens not yet required to be removed under Section 7 of Article II hereof and will warrant and defend the title and possession thereto and to every part thereof for the benefit of the Mortgagee against the claims and demands of all persons whomsoever.
