Common use of Title and Ownership Clause in Contracts

Title and Ownership. This Agreement constitutes a lease and not a sale of the Property or the creation of a security interest therein. No part of the rental payments made under this Agreement shall be deemed payment towards the purchase of any of the Property. Xxxxxx specifically acknowledges the Lessor’s superior title and ownership of the Property and must keep the Property free of all liens, levies and encumbrances.
