Common use of Time of submission Clause in Contracts

Time of submission. Contractor shall prepare and present to Owner and the Independent Consultant, for their approval and for payment, a monthly application for payment (the "Application for Payment") for the Cost of the Work incurred by Contractor for the previous thirty (30) days, which shall be given under oath of the person executing the Application of Payment. Applications for payment shall be submitted on the last day of each calendar month and shall apply to the thirty (30) day period ending on the twenty-fifth (25th) day of such calendar month.
