Common use of Time for Association President Clause in Contracts

Time for Association President. The President of the Aberdeen Education Association shall be allowed to use the non-contract time throughout the school day and/or year as necessary to conduct Association and School District business. Advance notice to the affected building Principals will be given. The Association may arrange for up to .5 of the Association President’s contract to be release time for the conduct of Association business in the District. This release time shall be funded by the Association at the same salary and benefits as set forth in the President’s current contract.
