Common use of Threats Clause in Contracts

Threats. Any employee who is threatened with physical harm by any person or group while carrying out assigned duties shall immediately notify the Superintendent, or in his/her absence or inaccessibility any district administrator, and if necessary, the appropriate law enforcement authority. Immediate steps shall be taken by the Superintendent or other administrator in cooperation with the employee to provide for the employee’s safety and assist in contacting law enforcement authorities, if appropriate. Steps may include notifying law enforcement and/or other xxxxxxx efforts.
