Common use of THEFT OR LOSS Clause in Contracts

THEFT OR LOSS. Tenant shall be responsible for the protection and security of the Premises and all property therein from robbery, theft, vandalism, pilferage or other loss. Landlord shall not be responsible for lost or stolen personal property, equipment or money occurring within the Premises or the Building, regardless of how or when the loss occurs. Tenant, upon leaving the Premises at the end of any day, shall see that all windows and exit doors from the Premises are closed and locked. Tenant shall furnish Landlord with “after-hours” emergency telephone numbers, for the sole use of Landlord at its sole and absolute discretion. Except for emergency purposes, Landlord will use its best efforts to keep such telephone numbers confidential.
