For theft or loss off-campus, the device should be reported to the local police department. A copy of the police report must be sent to the District within 48 hours of the discovery of the loss.

After assessing the circumstances, the Institution may, in its sole discretion, elect to discount or waive the Student’s financial responsibility for theft or loss.
