Common use of The Procedure Clause in Contracts

The Procedure. A. Level One: 1. The party with a grievance will first discuss it with his principal or immediate supervisor within seven (7) working days of the incident or knowledge thereof, with the objective of resolving the matter informally. 2. If the grievant is not satisfied with the informal disposition of his grievance, he/she may communicate a written grievance with his/her principal within seven (7) working days of the informal meeting, but not later than fourteen (14) days from the date of alleged violation or knowledge thereof. The principal shall make a written decision within seven (7) working days and attach it to the original grievance. Copies shall be sent to the grievant and his/her representative within seven (7) working days of the original written grievance.
