Reallocation to a Class with a Higher Salary Range Maximum Upon appointment to the higher class, the employee’s base salary will be increased to a step of the range for the new class that is nearest to five percent (5.0%) higher than the amount of the pre-promotional step, or to the entry step of the new range, whichever is higher.
Promotion to a Higher Classification An employee who is promoted to a higher rated classification within the bargaining unit will be placed in the range of the higher rated classification so that he shall receive no less an increase in wage rate than the equivalent of one step in the wage rate of his previous classification (provided that he does not exceed the wage rate of the classification to which he has been promoted).
Class Certification Solely for the purposes of this Settlement, the Parties stipulate and agree to certification of the claims asserted on behalf of Class Members. Settlement Class Certification 41. For the purposes of the Settlement only, the Parties stipulate and agree that: (1) the Class shall be certified in accordance with the definition contained in Paragraph 43, below; (2) Plaintiff shall represent the Class for settlement purposes and shall be the Class Representative; and (3) Plaintiff’s Counsel shall be appointed as Class Counsel.
COSTS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH COUNTYWIDE COST ALLOCATIONS The indirect overhead and support service costs listed in Schedule A (attached) are formally approved as actual costs for the 2012-13 fiscal year and as estimated costs for the 2014-15 fiscal year on a "fixed with carry-forward" basis.
