The Chief. If step one (1) is not satisfactory to the grievant, within ten (10) calendar days the grievance shall be appealed in writing on the grievance form to the ACEMS Chief. The Chief or his/her designee shall, within ten (10) calendar days, meet with the employee and/or the President of the Union in an attempt to resolve the grievance. Within ten (10) calendar days of such meeting, the Chief shall deliver his/her answer, in writing, to the employee or the President of the Union.
