Common use of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome Clause in Contracts

Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome. (TMJ): a condition involving misalignment or imbalance in the relationship of the person's lower jaw (mandible) to the upper jaw (maxilla), with related spasm of the muscles of mastication (chewing). In this Contract the terms Craniomandibular Cervical Pain (CRMP), Craniomandibular Facial Pain (CMFP), or Myofascial Pain Dysfunction Syndrome (MFPD) shall have the same meaning and benefits as Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome.
