Common use of Temporary Vacancy Clause in Contracts

Temporary Vacancy. A temporary vacancy shall be defined as a vacancy which is expected to last in excess of three (3) months as a result of an employees absence due to illness, injury, leave of absence including maternity/adoption/parental leave or time-specific contracts of three

Temporary Vacancy. A temporary vacancy shall be defined as a vacancy which any bargaining unit position that is expected to last in excess of three (3) months as a result of an employees absence vacant due to illness, injuryleave, leave or other reason for more than thirty (30) calendar days. As soon as it is known, such vacancy shall be posted and filled as required according to Article 14, Section 14.4 of absence including maternity/adoption/parental leave or time-specific contracts of threethe Master Agreement.
