The TEMPORARY ROADWAYS clause establishes requirements for the construction, maintenance, and removal of temporary access roads on a project site. TEMPORARY ROADWAYS. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall maintain, if not specifically specified in the Contract Documents, all temporary roads used for the Work of the Project keeping the surfaces of these roadways free from mounds, depressions, and obstructions of any kind including snow. He shall apply calcium chloride or other material as required to control dust. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall allow all persons engaged in the Project, including Architects, Engineers, OWNER, and materialmen and all Contractors employed on the Project free use of all temporary roads provided under this Contract.
TEMPORARY ROADWAYS. The Contractor shall construct and maintain roadways and parking areas within the site, as required, in order to provide proper access to building or structure(s). The roadways and parking areas shall be constructed in accordance with base course specified and shall be kept in a usable condition throughout the period of construction. Location(s) shall be coordinated with the Owner.
