Telecommuting Program. The Telecommuting Memorandum of Agreement, as reproduced in Appendix III, shall be continued.

The City will decide the classifications and positions which are feasible for a telecommuting program. The WCE may recommend classifications and positions for inclusion in telecommuting. b. The WCE representative or designee shall have the opportunity to attend the meeting between the City and the employee at the time of the decision on a telecommuting arrangement. c. A telecommuting arrangement may be terminated by the City or by the employee upon submission of written notice to the other party. Upon receipt of the written notice, the telecommuting arrangement will be terminated on a date mutually acceptable to the City and the employee or thirty (30) calendar days from the date of written notice should there be no mutual agreement.
Telecommuting Program. The City agrees to a telecommuting program that will provide for 80 hours per calendar year of telecommuting hours to be used in accordance with City policy. While unit members are invited to participate in policy formation, the terms and conditions are subject to management approval before the program will be implemented. Additionally, Tthe provisions of the policy shall not trigger any right of grievance or appeal. This will be a pilot program which shall terminate upon the expiration of this MOU Once approved, a copy of the policy governing this program will be attached as an addendum to this MOU
