Technologists shall possess the necessary and appropriate skills, education, credentials, knowledge and experience. In exercising its judgment under this Section, MedCare agrees not to discriminate against any Technologist on the basis of race, religion, age, sex or national origin or otherwise violate any applicable state or federal employment laws.

Technologists. All Personnel who are radiologic technologists providing PET diagnostic services pursuant to this Agreement shall be employed by Lessor, and shall, if required by law, be duly licensed and registered and in good standing to engage in their specialty in the State of Florida. Except as otherwise provided herein, Lessor shall make all final decisions concerning hiring and firing of such technologists, subject to consultation with Lessee. Lessor, however, agrees to consult with Lessee concerning the number of technologists required to staff the PET Center.

Technologists. Quality Control Employees in the Quality control job category can attain the top levels shown by passing a written test pertaining to the skills, knowledge and technological advances inherent in their jobs. They may also be required to assist a Level II Operator in a complete set up. This twenty-four (24) month shall be in addition to successful completion of the probationary period. Technologists. This team will provide the technical resources to both maintain existing and introduce new technicaladvances into our operation. In developing this Maintenance Technologist classification, care will be taken to avoid undermining the knowledge base of any particular trade that traditionally has existed in the group. The training programs willbe designed to enhance skills and broaden into new areas in order to work to be performed more effectively. Training programs will be tailored to meet the needs of the Company and each individualmaintenance tradesperson. Maintenance employeeshired into any trade will require a Provincial where applicable. All new maintenance employ- ees will be hired at the entry level rate for his trade. At the end of six (6) months, the employee will move to the Level pay rate for his trade. Technologists hired as regular full-time or regular part-time technologists shall serve a three (3) month probationary period commencing on the first day of employment, during which time the Hospital will evaluate their work performance and general suitability for employment with the Hospital.
