The UW may specify the choice of exterior routing protocol and router configuration details necessary to establish and maintain Participant's connectivity to the P/NWGP infrastructure. In addition, the UW may request that Participant configure certain circuit parameters such as encapsulation and clock source on the Participant's attachment to the P/NWGP. The Participant will be responsible for implementing these specified configurations and upgrading, if necessary, all Participant-provided hardware, software, and circuits to support these requirements. Unless Participant’s current configuration poses a threat to Gigapop services, the UW shall allow a reasonable time for such specified configurations and upgrades to be completed. UW’s ability to provide the Service is contingent upon Participant’s use of UW-approved connectivity equipment and associated software at Participant’s premises. Should Participant use equipment and associated software other than those approved by the UW, UW will in no way be responsible or liable for any impairment in the quality of the Service or the failure of the Service to function. Furthermore, Participant shall nonetheless be responsible for payment in full for such Service.
