Teaching service a. Members will be credited for one (1) year’s experience for any year in which they taught for at least one hundred twenty (120) days either under a teacher’s contract or as a substitute teacher.
b. Creditable teaching service shall include:
(i) All years of verified teaching service in a public school or chartered, nonpublic school located in Ohio as a certified/licensed teacher.
(ii) All years of verified teaching service in a public school in any of the other forty-nine (49) states.
Teaching service. In order to be credited as a full year of experience, a year of teaching service must have consisted of at least 120 days under a teacher’s contract as verified by the State Teachers’ Retirement System or other official evidence approved by the Superintendent.
Teaching service. Faculty’s teaching responsibilities will be consistent with the teaching load of other faculty in XXX and XXX, pro-rated based on appointment percentage. After Faculty establishes her laboratory and secures research funding it is expected that he contribute to teaching in the medical and/or graduate courses through XXX in the area of his expertise. Other details regarding teaching responsibilities will be outlined in the offer letter and during annual salary negotiation meetings.
Teaching service. One
(1) year salary step credit per year up to ten (10) years for each year of teaching service outside the district and one (1) step credit for each additional two (2) years beyond ten (10) years.
