Teaching Load Factor Sample Clauses
The Teaching Load Factor clause defines how an instructor's teaching responsibilities are quantified and weighted for workload calculations. It typically assigns numerical values or multipliers to different types of teaching activities, such as lectures, labs, or seminars, to reflect their relative effort or time commitment. For example, a laboratory session might count as a higher load factor than a standard lecture due to increased preparation or supervision requirements. This clause ensures equitable distribution of teaching duties among staff and provides a standardized method for determining full-time or part-time teaching loads.
