Target restoration Time. 8.1 If the Providing Operator receives a fault notification during its normal working hours which is given by the Requesting Operator in accordance with the Agreement, the Providing Operator shall use its reasonable endeavours to restore service of the faulty Blockwiring on or before after receipt of fault notification by the Providing Operator. If the Providing Operator offers a shorter standard target restoration period to its other customers in similar circumstances from time to time compared to the target restoration period specified in Schedule 2, the Providing Operator shall negotiate in good faith to consider revisions to the target restoration period specified in Schedule 2. 8.2 The Parties acknowledge that the following factors may affect the ability of the Providing Operator to meet the above maintenance targets: (a) the Subscriber’s premises are inaccessible or the need to coordinate an appointment where work on the Horizontal Blockwiring and/or the Termination Socket is required; (b) power failure at the relevant Blockwiring Building; (c) additional time awaiting approval from the Requesting Operator, management of the relevant Blockwiring Building, and/or the Subscriber; (d) natural disaster; (e) major cable fault; (f) weather constraints, such as thunderstorm, black rain storm or typhoon warnings of number 8 or above or any other severe weather condition which may affect staff safety on carrying out repair duties; (g) public transportation is not available; (h) the Blockwiring Building is not readily accessible, or is located in outlying island, restricted areas or hill tops; or (i) replacement / removal of wiring is required.
