Common use of SWAT Clause in Contracts

SWAT. SWAT team members are required to maintain a higher standard of physical fitness than the normal employee. The City will reimburse each SWAT team member who purchases personal exercise equipment or who voluntarily joins a physical fitness gym for the cost of the membership and monthly charges up to a maximum yearly rate of $375.00 per member. At the City’s request each member requesting reimbursement may be required to provide proof of purchase or of membership and active participation.
