Support for Students Committee. The Parties believe in addressing the needs of all learners and recognize that student needs vary on an individual basis. The Parties believe that a variety of placement and support options are necessary to meet the unique needs of individual learners. Therefore, a provincial committee, with representatives comprised of: • the Ministry of Education; • OPSBA/School Boards; and • ETFO shall meet to identify and share best practices with respect to supporting students with special needs. This work will focus specifically on the integration process and instances where integration has been successful. This committee shall meet within thirty (30) days from the date of ratification of the central agreement.
