Common use of Support and Counseling Clause in Contracts

Support and Counseling. The Employer and the Union recognize that, where preventative measures have failed to prevent abusive/violent or traumatic incidents, counseling and support shall be made available to help employees recover from such incidents. This support shall include, but not be limited to, debriefing sessions and workplace accommodations. Critical incident stress debriefing and post traumatic counseling shall be available for any employee who has experienced or witnessed any incident of workplace violence. The provisions outlined in this article will be provided as determined necessary by the employer.
