Common use of Sunday Work Clause in Contracts

Sunday Work. Any employee (other than a seven day shift worker) who is employed on a Sunday shall for all time worked on that day, be paid at the rate of double time. Where, by agreement between an employer and the majority of employees, shifts are rearranged to commence on Sunday instead of Monday, ordinary rates shall be paid for Sunday work.
