Summer Workweek. During summer, non-student contact periods, the District may adopt a 10-hour, 4-day workweek for any of its employees. Employees on such a 4/10 schedule shall be allowed overtime for work in excess of 40 hours per week. The District will consider individual employee requests to remain on a 5-day, 8-hour schedule if a 4/10 schedule is implemented. The final decision on such requests will remain with the District.
Summer Workweek. For eleven weeks during the summer, the normal workweek will consist of five consecutive days. On four days of the workweek, the employee shall work eight hours. On the fifth day, the employee shall work the first four hours of the employee's normal shift. The police department shall not participate in the 4-1/2 day schedule in the summer and shall maintain a 40¬ hour workweek throughout the entire calendar year.
Summer Workweek. 11 All employees, including, but not limited to twelve (12) month employees, may 12 work a four (4) day, ten (10) hour schedule during the summer with the approval of 13 their department/school supervisor. Any holiday which occurs during the 4 x 10 14 schedule shall be paid as if the regular 8-hour schedule were in effect and overtime 15 shall be based on a 10-hour rather than an 8-hour day.

The commencement and termination dates of such workweek shall be as determined by the Superintendent of Highways. 14.2.2 The summer workweek schedule shall be Monday through Thursday, ten hours per day (6:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. or 6:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., whichever schedule is selected by the Superintendent of Highways.) 14.2.3 Time off will be calculated in hours instead of days (i.e., one day time off equals ten hours instead of eight hours).

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Workday and Workweek The regular workweek of a full-time employee in the bargaining unit shall be forty (40) hours and shall consist of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
