Summer Session Hours. To the extent permitted by law, teachers in the regular school year program who work during the summer session may credit such hours to the 1080 hours needed for a full year’s service credit. Hours of work beyond the 1080 hours shall be credited to the STRS Defined Benefit Supplemental Program. No unit member may earn greater than 1.0 STRS service credit.
