Common use of Substitute Work Clause in Contracts

Substitute Work. When an employee for more than one whole day is serving in a higher placed position in the tariff area than the one he is employed in, he is entitled to payment as laid down for the higher position for the time during which he has worked in the higher position. Employees who has their wages determined in accordance with wage table, and who temporarily function in position for which the wage is not determined here (senior position), is to be granted a remuneration of NOK 450,- per 24 hours on board during which the individual functions in the position.
