Substitute Plans. It is an Employee’s professional responsibility to provide high quality substitute plans. In the case when a substitute teacher cannot be obtained and all other reasonable alternatives have been exhausted, an Employee may be requested to substitute for an absent Employee. Employees who serve as substitutes shall be paid a stipend of fifty dollars ($50) for each class period of substitute teaching. In the event an Employee substitutes during the Employee’s preparation period, the Employee will not be evaluated on performance during the day of the substitution or the next instructional day.

Substitute Plans. Requirements of Regular Employees Regular employees covered under this agreement are expected to have substitute plans to cover their absence in case of emergency. These plans should be available for the employee’s supervisor to ensure essential duties can be performed in case of the employee’s absence. The District and Union will support training and implementation of this provision throughout the duration of this agreement.   • Substitute Precautions Forest Service may authorize substitute measures or equipment, or waive specific requirements by written notice, if substitute measures or equipment will afford equal protection or some of the required measures and equipment are un- necessary.

  • Substitute Checks You agree not to deposit any substitute check or similar item that you have created, or for which no financial institution has provided any substitute check warranties and indemnity. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.
