Substitute Plans Clause Samples
The Substitute Plans clause allows for the replacement of an original plan, schedule, or arrangement with an alternative when the initial plan cannot be executed as intended. In practice, this clause typically outlines the conditions under which a substitute plan may be proposed, the process for approval, and any requirements for notification or documentation. Its core function is to provide flexibility and continuity, ensuring that unforeseen obstacles do not halt progress and that parties have a clear process for adapting to changing circumstances.
Substitute Plans. Requirements of Regular Employees Regular employees covered under this agreement are expected to have substitute plans to cover their absence in case of emergency. These plans should be available for the employee’s supervisor to ensure essential duties can be performed in case of the employee’s absence. The District and Union will support training and implementation of this provision throughout the duration of this agreement. Samples of substitute plans and forms shall be made available to employees (see Appendix F). Substitute employees are not required to develop substitute plans. Up to four (4) hours paid at the employee’s regular rate of pay per school year are available for employees for the purpose of developing substitute plans to be allocated one
(1) hour per each quarter of the academic year.
Substitute Plans. Teacher of Record will provide lesson plan, seating chart, preferred names/nicknames and other information about students such as classroom accommodations, health information (allergies etc), school emergency information, special circumstances, and movable lesson plans if students have to change classrooms.
Substitute Plans. It is an Employee’s professional responsibility to provide high quality substitute plans. In the case when a substitute teacher cannot be obtained and all other reasonable alternatives have been exhausted, an Employee may be requested to substitute for an absent Employee. Employees who serve as substitutes shall be paid a stipend of fifty dollars ($50) for each class period of substitute teaching. In the event an Employee substitutes during the Employee’s preparation period, the Employee will not be evaluated on performance during the day of the substitution or the next instructional day.
