Common use of Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Subpoena. ‌ An employee who is subpoenaed to appear in court in a matter regarding an event or transaction which he or she perceived or investigated in the course of his or her District job duties will appear without loss of compensation. The time spent in response to a subpoena will be considered work time. Any payment except travel pay, meals, and lodging received by the employee for such service shall be remitted to the District through the Fire Administration.
