Common use of Submission of Annual Representations and Certifications Clause in Contracts

Submission of Annual Representations and Certifications. The Commission requests the CNA diligently review all annual Reps & Certs from the NPAs quarterly reports at the time of receipt, then once again at the end of the year before submitting the Reps and Certs to the Commission. The CNA will review for irregularities and outliers, such as discrepancies between hours, and labor, or other anomalous data when compared to previous quarters or years of data, and resolve them with the NPA within thirty (30) days of submission. Additionally, the Commission requests the CNA process the information through macros templates that have been formatted to identify random data that is inconsistent with previously reported data. The CNA shall continue to work closely with the NPAs to receive explanations to data that is uncharacteristic and ensure the information is corrected. Submissions serve as an official certification that the CNA has validated data provided to the Commission. The CNA must perform its due diligence to ensure all information received from the NPAs, is validated prior to the CNA submitting it to the Commission. The CNA shall forward to the Commission, no later than December 1, annually, a completed legible original copy of the appropriate Annual Certification for the fiscal year ending the preceding September 30 for each of the NPAs, and data extract containing all information within the annual Representations & Certifications and a summary report that contains the following information:
